Ethan Vanderwall murdered his own cousin to gain control over the Lancaster pack. Killing is not unheard of in an alpha challenge, however, it was the way that Ethan went about it that has other packmates up in arms. What he did was murder, plain and simple, but he will never admit that. During the last decade of his leadership the pack had gone downhill. Ethan trades female Lycans for more power and has even formed a blood pledge with some vampire clans who will do anything for Lycan blood. Although Ethan is alpha he has no backbone when confronted head on. He surrounds himself with strong, loyal followers…that he wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice.

Domonique ‘Dom’ Vanderall is Ethan’s mate. She was involved in the plot to kill Bernard and Caine. She’s a force to be reckoned with and most everyone fears her wrath. She’s stood behind Ethan for as long as she could remember but the blinders fell from her eyes after a certain incident occurred and she realized he was not the man that she thought he was. Without her Ethan’s reign would have ended a long time ago. Dom is a doctor so she must have a caring side right?

Julius Vanderwall is the only child of Dom and Ethan and the light of Dom’s eyes. In Ethan’s eyes Julius is too soft to be alpha and so he’s abrupt with him in order to strength his backbone. Julius and Dom are very close and Dom would do anything for Julius…even if that meant betraying Ethan. Ethan doesn’t see how bright Julius is, how often he brings home A’s. All he sees is the failures…he’s blinded to his own faults though.
