The Southerland Pack differs from the other packs in Lycan Tales because they’ve always been a pack. They know the dynamics of the pack and their place in it.

Odin and Jenna Southerland have been together since they were teens. Odin would do anything for Jenna and she for him. He runs his pack with an iron fist but also shows them love and understanding. He wants to take over the Lancaster pack. First he intends to take down Caine and then go after Ethan. He won’t let anything stay in his way. Jenna helps him. Being a scientist she had discovered a way to mask their scents which helps as one of their pack member has gone undercover.

Dedrick Osteen has known Odin since they were kids. Beta of the pack he’s one of the only ones that questions Odin and gets away with it unscathed. Not only he the beta but he’s a teacher as well. Teaching the pups all the skills they’ll need later in life. He has a huge heart and keeps an eagle eye on his baby sister who he’s raised since she was just a pup.

Winona ‘Nona’ Osteen is the baby sister of the beta of the pack. She’s a free spirit but she always comes back home. She doesn’t talk about what she does when she disappears for months at a time and Odin allows it because he’s known her since she was just a pup. Nona is known to buck the system and has had to be bailed out from jail many, many times. She’s dodged many mating attempts and is currently ‘dating’ Dante. She would do anything for her brother.

Dante O’Neal tends bar in his spare time. He likes to stand out from the crowd and when he’s not doing scouting work he’s trying to persuade Nona to mate with him. He’s been after her for years, not because of who her brother is(as she assumes) but because he enjoys her as a person. Dante was Odin and Dedrick’s roommate in college and when he discovered they were Lycans he was thrilled. He could be himself around them.

Vivian Ishi is working undercover as a vampyre. She’s taken her job very seriously and if one didn’t know any better they would think she was a vampyre. Never one to fade into the background Vivian has had to fend off forced matings for years. She doesn’t think she’s better than anyone else(as has been assumed) but she’s just looking for something or someone that she can lean on and trust. So far she hasn’t found that male yet.

Lloyd Rameriz can get anyone anything they need at a moments notice. He’s a valuable asset to the pack although he butts heads with everyone. Raised by just his mother he was always the butt of jokes growing up since his mother mated a coyote. When his mother died he wandered for awhile trying to find his place. He happened to run into Odin and helped him out of a tight situation. Since then he’s been with the Southerland pack ever since.
