Duncaine ‘Caine’ Lancaster is the only son, the only child, of the full blooded Lancaster line. To be alpha of the pack is just not a birth right however. They are challenged just as everyone else is but it’s always been the Lancasters that come out on top. Caine witnessed his father’s murder at the age of eleven and barely escaped with his life. Ten years later he escaped from a mental institute(that he was hiding in) when he overheard a plot to kill him…by the same man that killed his father. Going to one of the old properties his father kept Caine kept to himself until one evening when he rescued a woman…and it changed the course of everything.

That all changed when a “dog” rescued her from a mugger that was intent on rape. Befriending the animal wasn’t easy but she eventually did after weeks of trying. Nolan Blade is the baby brother of Gregory. He lives in a crappy apartment with six other people, not only rouge packmates but also bandmates, The Shapeshifters. Nolan likes to smoke weed and more often than not can be found cracking jokes with anyone close to him. He has a huge heart and underneath of it all is envious of his brother and that makes him feel guilty since his brother has such a rough life. He won’t admit it but what he really wants is to settle down and have a pup or two.

The Shapeshifters consist of Rebecca, Calista, Douglas, Ken, Sean, Nolan and Sarah. They play at a local club whenevery the mood strikes them. They try to keep a low profile since they know Ethan has the tendency to snatch up lone female Lycans and trade them for whatever can extend his power. In the band is Greg’s wife and brother.
